WHAT TIME IS THE SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Our sitters are available for cat-clients every day of the week from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm.
WHERE DOES LOCALCAT WORK?
In Budapest, I, V, VI, VII, VIII. districts, as well as II, IX, XI. XIII. districts. You can find the details at the bottom of the CONTACT menu.
MY CAT NEEDS TO TAKE MEDICINES, IS THIS A PROBLEM?
Although we are not veterinarians, we will try to find solutions to handle the situation with the limit of our capabilities. In this case, please do not hesitate to contact us.
WHEN DO I NEED TO INDICATE IF I WANT TO USE THE SERVICE?
We try to handle the "reservations" very flexibly, but we would ask you to contact us minimum 3 days before the first occasion. Last minute booking (12-24 hours before the current feeding) is only possible when the feeding period is extended (e.g. if someone is away for 5 days instead of 6 days).
HOW IS THE SERVICE TAKING PLACE?
Contact us! We will discuss a date when your sitter will visit you and the cat client. You will fix everything – the kitten daily routine, eating habits and needs, your vet's contact details, and more. The one-time introductory meeting does not have a separate fee, this is part of the LocalCat service. At the same time, you can also give the key to the cat sitter.
HOW MANY KEYS ARE NEEDED?
We suggest you give us two key chains. This is a double assurance that in any case (even in emergency situations) we can get to the cats. One of the keys will be your cat sitter and the other at the LocalCat office.
DOES THE CAT SITTER TRANSMIT THE KEYS FROM THE HOUSEKEEPER?
Naturally, for the cat sitter is also a perfect solution. Regardless of this, the initial personal consultation is required.
IS IT NECESSARY TO INSURE MY HOUSE?
This is not an expectation, but we recommend it. We take full responsibility for our cat sitters, so you do not have to worry about the safety of your home. It is also certain that if daily motion is perceived in the property, it also keeps the burglars away.
WHEN AND HOW IS THE PAYMENT PROCESSED?
Payment is due on the day of the service or in the case of long journeys on the last day of feeding in cash or by bank transfer, against invoice.
HOW CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
You may only cancel a confirmed Order with the following conditions: (1) If the cancellation takes place within 7-4 prior to the start of the Service, 50% of the Fee has to be paid to LocalCat, (2) If the cancellation takes place within 3 days prior to the start of the Service, the full Fee has to be paid to LocalCat. In such case, LocalCat issues the invoice after the cancellation, which the Client has to pay via bank transfer.
